How we serve staff alumni

Charitable programs aligned with our 501(c)(3) mission—connection, heritage, and human services for the Camp Freeland Leslie staff community.

Alumni Connection

We facilitate reunions, regional meetups, and digital outreach so former counselors, unit leaders, aquatics staff, and support teams can find one another. Season-specific networks help staff from the 1980s, 1990s, and final operating years rebuild contact lists and plan gatherings.

  • Reunion announcement support via email and web
  • Peer networking for career mentorship
  • Season and program-area affinity groups

Heritage Preservation

Camp Freeland Leslie lives on in photographs, songs, patches, and stories. Our heritage initiative documents patrol traditions, dining hall memories, and Three Fires Council camping history for educational and commemorative use.

  • Digital archive of staff-contributed media
  • Oral history and written memory collection
  • Educational articles on camp traditions (see Blog)
